Senior British League - Weekend 1 Preview

This weekend sees the first round of Senior British League fixtures kick off with Bromley competing in Divisions B2 and C6 this season. Division C6 is being hosted at Bromley this weekend with our 1st team playing away at Westfield Table Tennis club in Wellingborough.

Both teams have their word cut out this weekend but are relishing the challenge of fierce completion. Bromley I kick off against Sommerset Sabres who won Division C2 last year to gain promotion. Bromley II meanwhile kick off against fellow Worcestershire rivals JLM TTA from Evesham. Although JLM are new to SBL this season, the team comes with a wealth of experience having each individually competed in the competition in previous years. We look forward to welcoming the guys to Bromley tomorrow.

As always, spectators are very welcome to attend this weekends fixtures which kick off at 10:30am on Saturday. Sue Garbutt and Martin Williams will be serving up refreshments throughout the weekend with another delightful selection of cakes on offer. Mary Berry could well be knocked off her perch this weekend with the offering from our resident cake expert!
