Senior British League - Weekend 3 Preview

Weekend 3 of Senior British League is this Saturday (15th Feb) with both Bromley teams again in action.

Bromley I currently reside in 5th place of division B2 which is closely contested league hosted at Wellingborough Table Tennis Club. The team will play Shrewsbury TT College first up on Saturday which is sure to be fiercely competitive with Bromley edging the first tie 5-4. The afternoon fixture sees the guys face up against Lillington 1 . Lillington proved to strong in the first fixture and ran out 7-2 winners but can the team regroup and pinch the points this weekend?

Bromley 2 will be playing at home this weekend with a difficult set of division C6 fixtures to navigate. The team are in good form since Jamie (Turbo) Cartwright and Frank Carroll joined up with the squad and will be looking to pickup points this weekend. The guys kick off Saturday against 2nd place Huntingdon who have only been beaten by top of the table JLM this season. Last time out, Huntingdon delivered a dominant 9-0 win over Bromley but can the guys get their revenge this weekend? The afternoon fixture sees Bromley take on Corby Smash 1 who are level on points in the division. Both teams will want to win this one, to gain league position before the final weekend of fixtures.

As always, spectators / supporters are welcome to attend (free of charge) with an array snacks, cakes, hot and cold beverages available. First matches kick off at 10.30am.
